City of Albuquerque Veterans Day Parade
The parade starts at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 11th
- Begins at USS Bullhead Memorial Park 1606 San Pedro Dr SE
- Follows US Veterans Hospital Loop to Gibson Road & San Mateo Boulevard
- Follows Gibson Road to Louisiana Boulevard
- Ends at New Mexico Veterans Memorial 1100 Louisiana Blvd SE
Veterans Day Ceremony and Celebration
Visit the New Mexico Veterans Memorial at 1100 Louisiana Blvd SE, for the annual Veterans Day Ceremony followed by Veteran Celebration events on Friday November 11th from 10:30 to 4 p.m. Enjoy vendors, food trucks and educational and fun activities for the whole family. The Rio Rancho Veterans Day Parade is November 11th at 10am.Celebrate our Veterans and remember their selfless service. Come and watch the parade, listen to music honoring our great country, and give a hand to those who have served.
Parade line-up is from 8:00 am to 9:30 am along the west side of Country Club. Float judging will be from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. The parade will kick off at 10:00 am and travel east on Southern Boulevard where it will conclude at Veterans Memorial Park, near the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Pinetree. Immediately following the parade, participants and spectators can take part in the Veterans Day Memorial Service starting at 11:00 am at the Veterans Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Discounts: The ABQ Bio Park salutes active and non-active military personnel with a year-round military discount of $2 off general admission tickets for adults and $1 off general admission tickets for youth ages 3-12.
The City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department salutes our veterans with a Veterans Day discount with 25% off green fees at City Golf Courses and free admission at all City pools.
