A Park Above Rio Rancho 2441 A Park Above Court. This is the first fully-inclusive and accessible playground in New Mexico. This six acre park’s universal design is fun for everyone.
Mariposa Basin Park 6401 Taylor Ranch Scenic views This park has a 1.4 mile lightly trafficked loop walking trail. Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a leash. The park has a playground, sports fields, and a pond.
North Domingo Baca 7521 Carmel Ave Enjoy the rock climbing wall, teeter totter, slides, regular and baby swings, balance equipment, climbing equipment at North Domingo Baca Park. Visitors can also enjoy tennis courts, the skate park, the racquetball area, dog park, and the walking path.
Academy Hills Park 9709 Layton Ave NE This park features a separate play area for younger kids. The park also has a walking trail, shaded picnic tables, a large grassy area, and a playground.
Jerry Cline Park Large Park 7205 Constitution Avenue NE The park has tennis courts, a soccer field, a walking path and a playground. You can access Winrock Shopping Center at the north end of the park via the bike path.
Tiguex Park This park is in Old Town and close to the museums at 1800 Mountain Road. Walk two loop paths the inner and outer loop (paved pathways are suitable for wheelchairs). The park has play areas, grass fields, basketball courts and picnic tables.
