The Santero Market at San Felipe de Neri church in Albuquerque Old Town is on October 1 and 2, with live entertainment and kids’ activities.

The Santero Market is free to visit, although you might be tempted to buy a piece of sacred art from one of the 44 New Mexico artists showing their works around Old Town Plaza! In addition to the traditional Spanish icons on display, expect music and dance at the Gazebo, food vendors, and activities for children.

The Santero Market opens with a blessing at 8 am on Saturday October 1 by Father Dennis Garcia of San Felipe de Neri Church,  and there will be a market Mass on Sunday from 8:30 am. Other highlights include a talk by New Mexico santero Carlos Otero on the perspectives of traditional Spanish religious arts at 2 pm on Sunday October 2.
