Albuquerque Baths Discount Deals October 2012

October 3, 2012 by

A visit to Albuquerque Baths sounds like a swell idea if you’re looking for a hot tub soak and sauna to ease your way into fall. Especially when they’ve got some great October deals to help save cash while having a splash!

According to an email from Albuquerque Baths, these are the October 2012 special offers:

  • Get a 10-Visit Pre-Paid Bath Pass for $110. A regular day pass is $15, and a 10-visit pass is usually $120, so the $110 deal is a nice one, working out to $11 per visit. It’s fine to share your card with a friend.
  • Massage & Body Scrub is $115 for the 90-minute treatment this month, discounted from the regular $130. The aromatherapy massage and exfoliating scrub is topped off (literally) with a warm oil scalp massage. Admission to the baths is included.
  • 5 Session Package of 60-Minute Massages for $315. The price of the 5 massages package has just increased on October 1 to $335, but if you buy the pre-paid package during October you can still get it at the old rate of $315.

Albuquerque Baths admission includes a locker, robe, sandals, and towels, and changing rooms have all the necessary personal gear like shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryers, so all you need to take is your own good self and a swimsuit. If you haven’t planned ahead, they say they also have some swimsuits to borrow.  Book in advance for treatments – at least an hour’s notice but ideally more.

Albuquerque Baths is open every day except Monday, from 10 am with last admission at 8 pm for 8:30 closure. Note that a pass doesn’t give re-entry privileges, so once you get there, you stay there!

Most of the time the baths are open to men and women, but on Wednesday there’s a women-only session from 10 am to 3 pm. (No swimsuit required for the women’s hours).

I am *so* tempted by that massage and body scrub deal, and I could do with a heavenly soak and to sweat these tired bones in the cedar sauna.

Albuquerque Baths are located at 1218 Broadway NE.

Crystal Mountain Massage: $5-$10 Discount

December 4, 2010 by

Comments Off on Crystal Mountain Massage: $5-$10 Discount

I could sure do with a massage right now or I’ll never manage to wriggle down the chimney this Christmas!

Crystal Mountain Clinic is giving $5 off the fee for their already low-cost student or graduate massage on Mondays and Tuesdays through December 31, 2010. A regular one-hour massage costs $30 with a trained and supervised student therapist, or $45 for a graduate massage.

Or get $5 off the student or graduate massage ANY day of the week if you take food items to donate to Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico.

Better yet, you can combine both offers to double your discount: Go on Monday or Tuesday AND take a Food Bank donation, and you’ll get $10 off your massage, bringing the student massage down to $20 for one hour, and the graduate massage to $35.

I mean, can we say “giving it away”?  That should smooth and soothe your path through the holidays a little.

Crystal Mountain Massage School has run this Albuquerque massage clinic for 30 years, and Crystal Mountain Massage Therapy Clinic offers various massage types, including Swedish massage, reflexology, neuromuscular therapy, craniosacral therapy, polarity therapy, and sports massage and deep tissue techniques.

We don’t have a link for the deals, they contacted us directly, so just quote the offer when you book a massage with Crystal Mountain at 505-872-2030. Both offers are good till December 31, 2010 on massage appointments (not for gift certificates or products).

Crystal Mountain Massage Therapy Clinic is located at 5041 Indian School Rd NE, Suite 400.

Comments Off on Massage $25: Back to School Special to September 15

A back to school special on a massage with trained student therapists till September 15, 2010. Even if your bank account’s hurting, there’s no reason for your body to suffer too…

Crystal Mountain Massage Therapy Clinic is offering a back to school massage special at $25 for a one hour massage. That’s $5 off the usual rate for a massage with a trained and supervised student therapist. Crystal Mountain Massage School has run this Albuquerque massage clinic for 30 years and you won’t find the deal on their website, they’ve just given us The Word.

Schedule a massage with Crystal Mountain Massage Therapy Clinic and mention the back to school deal. (D’you think that by calling it a back to school deal, they’re making a pun? My back could sure use some schooling right now.)

Student massages usually cost $30, with discounts for 3, 5, or 10 massage punch cards. For details on their ongoing massage deals, see our earlier Crystal Mountain Low Cost massage post.

Other Albuquerque massage deals we’ve mentioned recently that are still valid include:

$15 Off Massage to September 30, 2010

Comments Off on $15 Off Massage to September 30, 2010

Save on a one hour or 90 minute massage till the end of September.

Massage therapist Katherine Elias is offering $15 off a massage until September 30, 2010, bringing the rates down to:

  • $50 for a 60 minute massage
  • $70 for a 90 minute massage

Her 30 minute sessions continue to cost $30.

We don’t have a weblink for the deal – Katherine contacted us with the heads-up.  I asked her to tell me more about her Integrative Massage Therapy practice, and here’s what she said:

“My standard integrative session is like a therapeutic Swedish massage. I work in deep tissue elements where they’re needed, but work in a lot of flushing to minimize lingering soreness. All my athletic clients love that approach, as it’s therapeutic without having any kind of lasting pain or bruising. I’ve also spent a lot of time working with clients suffering from anxiety disorders, through a gentle session with a focus on breathwork. My style can be easily tailored to anyone’s needs, whether they’re physical, physiological, or emotional.”

Katherine is a graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy and previously worked at Art of Beauty Salon & Spa.

This deal is good until September 30 – after that Katherine is closing her current practice.

$15 off Massage Deal details:

  • What: Discounted one hour massage for $50 or a 90 minute massage for $70
  • Where: Integrative Massage Therapy, 3150 Carlisle Blvd. NE Suite #108. Directions at the link.
  • Call (505) 204-2301 to book.
  • When: Until September 30, 2010.

Comments Off on Free Haircut & Spa Bonuses in June

Salon and day spa free bonuses in this Summer Time Makeover Special until June 30, 2010. Plus some ongoing deals for whiter teeth and massage packages.

Here’s a nice way to relax or beautify and get some freebies thrown in to the deal!

The Summer Time Makeover Special runs through the month of June at the Full Circle Wellness Center day spa and salon in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.

Take your pick from:

  • A free haircut when you purchase your first highlight or color
  • A free steam with a one hour ($60) massage
  • Free photo rejuvenation with any facial. (The photo rejuvenation treatment apparently uses red & infrared LED light to penetrate deeper into the skin.)

The special is only good till June 30, 2010.

The center emphasizes its earth-friendly products, and they also have 10% off deals if you book a series of treatments.

For example, 10% off massages when you book a package of 10 massages, which range from 30 minutes to 2 hours in duration. (Two HOURS? I’d be mellow Jello for the rest of my life.) This deal looks on-going, as does the teeth whitening offer for $250 (regular price $800) at the bottom of the special offers page.

Full Circle Wellness Center is located at 7708 Fourth Street NW.
