Free Chicken Sandwich Today ONLY!
We buried this in the Friday Food Freebies & Deals a couple of Fridays ago, but the readers have spoken (by submitting this event numerous times), and told us loud and clear it deserves its own post. Many thanks to all the readers who took the time to send this in!
Wear your favorite sports team jersey (or any sports logo gear, actually: hat, t-shirt, belt buckle, bandanna – you get the idea) to Chick-fil-A TODAY, September 7, 2009, between the hours of 10:30am to close and receive a FREE Chick-fil-A Original Chicken sandwich! If you stop by the Paseo del Norte location between 11:30am – 1:30pm, you’ll get the added bonus of meeting Lobo Louie and the Lobo Cheerleaders. Woot!
So pack up the kiddos and head out for a free chicken sandwich for lunch. Or dinner. Or evening snack.
Chick-fil-A technically has three restaurants in Albuquerque, but presumably the one in the Student Union Building at UNM isn’t open today.

- Highly Rated Wines Under $10: World Market has several fab wines on sale for $8.99. And all of them have won awards or high ratings from Wine Spectator. Expires 8/30/09, so hurry. Two locations in Albuquerque.
- Three Course Meal $11.99: Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza enters the prix fixe dining fray with this offer. Choose one starter, one entrée, and one dessert for just $11.99. Plus, they’re currently running a contest where you can “text to score” from within the restaurant. Win $1 off, $2 off, or win a free meal! North I-25 corridor on The 25 Way.
- Entrées under $10: Some of the places we love aren’t so cheap. Take Romano’s Macaroni Grill, for example. But now they’ve rolled out some new Italian Mediterranean recipes that are all priced under $10 each. Plus, check the Sunday paper for a $5 off coupon. Not available in all markets. - Wine Tasting: Jubilation lights up the weekend with an “End of Summer” tasting on Saturday, August 29, from 2:00 – 4:00pm.
