Exclusive! Two KiMo tickets for the price of one: Second City Comedy

The Minneapolis-based quartet The Jinnies performs on Friday, February 5th at 7:30 pm at the KiMo Theatre.  I just listened to some of their music and it’s great – folk/rock with a soulful jazz and blue note, and gorgeous vocals. Fab fiddle too. Don’t believe me? Listen to the free cdbaby excerpt of the song Bloody Heart from The Jinnies’ CD Traveling Roots to get a taste of what to look forward to. (Or any of the tracks, but I especially fell in love with that one!)

Band line-up is Martha Alvarado on vocals and guitar, CJ Mulder on vocals and guitar, Jess Crary on vocals and violin, and Scott Yonke on bass guitar.

We just wanted to spotlight this great deal, which we previously covered on a Friday Food Freebies post, and provide a proper link to the deal.

Denny’s is offering a buy one get one free promotion on their new “Better Burgers.” Simply buy any burger and fries, plus two beverages, and then redeem this coupon for a FREE burger! Presto! Free food.

As always, this coupon is valid at “participating locations only,” so check with the waitstaff before you attempt to redeem it. Also, the coupon expires 11/23/09.

There are seven Denny’s restaurants in Albuquerque and 24 throughout New Mexico, so you should be able to find plenty of places to get your free burger fix.
