Discount Golf Lessons at Twin Warriors

These discounted golf lesson packages could make a great gift for the golfer in your life – available for purchase until December 31, 2014.

I always like giving people unforgettable experiences for Christmas and this does not include my attempt at singing “Jingle Bells” in a minor key.

So these golf instruction deals at Twin Warriors Golf Club  caught my eye. They could be a hole in one if you’ve got a golfer to buy for, or you like hitting the greens yourself. The discounted packages are with Sandy Lemon, the Director of Golf Instruction, and there’s a range of prices to suit all pockets.

For example:

  • $25 off Golf Instruction Gift Certificate – usually $100, now $75
  • $40 off a one-hour private lesson and a 30-minute follow-up – usually $120, now $80
  • $40 off a 90-minute “your choice” package on things like putting, chipping and pitching, etc… – usually $120, now $80
  • $35 off a 90-minute package for two people on full swing and short game, usually $135, now $100

They’re available to buy till December 31, 2014, then the gift must be redeemed by the end of December 2015. The final order date for delivery by Christmas is Friday December 19, 2014.

Expect to pay $1 for shipping, and you can personalize the certificate with a message for the recipient.

Find out more about Sandy Lemon here – she’s got a very impressive golfing bio and is Director of Instruction for Twin Warriors Golf Club at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa, and also for the Santa Ana Golf Club.

Comments Off on Coronado State Monument Christmas at Kuaua

Coronado State Monument’s free Christmas event for all the family creates a festive glow and includes cider and biscochitos!  The monument’s name was changed just over a year ago.  Don’t forget that it is now called the Coronado Historic Site.

The Christmas at Kuaua event at Coronado Historic Site lights up the luminarias on the evening of Sunday December 7, 2014, from 5 pm.

The evening’s activities include a Santa’s Workshop for kids to make a Christmas tree ornament. That is followed at 6 pm by Native American storytelling, traditional Pueblo dancing, and music. Amidst the luminarias and Christmas lights, they’ll have a lovely bonfire too, assuming the weather conditions are right.

Admission is free, and to help everyone keep warm (with or without a bonfire) the Friends of Coronado will also provide free hot apple cider and biscochitos.

Coronado Historic Site Christmas at Kuaua gets festive:

  • When: Sunday December 7, 2014
  • Time: From 5 pm
  • Where: Coronado Historic Site (a.k.a. Coronado State Monument) in Bernalillo
  • Price: Admission is free!

Coronado Historic Site is just off I-25, at exit 242, in Bernalillo.

The Range Cafe 50% Off Entrees on Select Dates

September 3, 2012 by

Comments Off on The Range Cafe 50% Off Entrees on Select Dates

The Range Cafe celebrates its 20 year anniversary this month, and here’s when you can score 50% off entrees at all three Albuquerque and Bernalillo locations…

I love the hearty home-style cooking at The Range Cafe, and to celebrate their 20 year anniversary the restaurant is giving 50% off selected entrees all day every Tuesday in September, 2012.

The half price Range Cafe entrees deal is on their specials menu only, which will feature dishes from their original menu from 1992, and at something like the original prices from 20 years ago too! Specials will no doubt vary, but according to an email from Range Cafe will include crab cakes, fish tacos, tuna melt, Carne Adovada and eggs, braised chicken breast, shrimp & pasta, trout, blue corn pancakes, and more.

The 50% off promo is only on Tuesdays in September,  for in-house dining only, and it runs all day at all three Range Cafe locations.

If you don’t want to order one of the special menu entrees at 50% off, customers wearing a Range Cafe logo T-shirt when they dine on a Tuesday can get 15% off their entree. If you don’t have a T-shirt for the
T-Shirt Tuesday
promotion, the shirts are also 15% off on Tuesdays in their gift shop.

Tuesdays will be the happening day at Range Cafe in September! I sincerely doubt that you can combine the 50% and the 15% discount offers. Probably just pick one!

The Range Cafe locations are at 2200 Menaul Boulevard NE (my personal favorite), 4401 Wyoming Boulevard NE, and in Bernalillo at 925 Camino Del Pueblo.
