The Entertainment Book is on sale at $10 for any two books plus FREE Shipping at this Entertainment Book website link. The regular price is $40 for the Albuquerque book.

We’re now into the Entertainment Book summer liquidation sale season for any city books remaining (some may have sold out already).  With some of the deals in the book, you literally only have to use one coupon to get the $5 back that you’ve paid for the sale-price books in the limited time two for $10 deal.

The two for $10 offer is good on any city’s book for about 120 locations nationally, including Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, Denver, New Orleans, New York, various cities in Texas, Utah, and Hawaii.

The Albuquerque / Santa Fe Entertainment Book for 2014 contains more than 500 coupons including 2-for-1 coupons, 50% off discounts, freebies with purchase, and other ways to save. The coupons are for local attractions, entertainment, leisure, shopping and casual and fine dining. Right now I’m seeing 236 restaurant coupons and 115 shopping coupons, to name just two categories.

Coupons may have changed, but last time I looked I spotted coupons for Tucanos Brazilian Grill, Golden Pride Chicken & Ribs, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Arby’s, Boston Market, Mary & Tito’s, Prairie Star Restaurant & Wine Bar, Albuquerque Little Theatre, Hinkle Family Fun Center, Albuquerque Indoor Karting, several bowling venues, Rattlesnake Museum,  Putt-Putt Golf & Games, ABQ Jump,  iT’Z, National Museum Of Nuclear Science & History, Best Buy, Payless Shoe Source, Famous Footwear, Family Dollar Stores, Big 5 Sporting Goods, The Gap, and too many more to mention…

See more details on the Entertainment Book 2 for $10 and Free Shipping sale at the link. The offer is on the coupon books for all American cities nationally, so you can buy two for Albuquerque, or also find one for another destination if you’re planning a trip elsewhere this year.

The limited time sale runs until July 27, 2014. UPDATE: The ‘last chance’ sale has been extended to July 31 2014, as they clear the shelves to make way for the 2015 book.

Youth Summer Fun Pass For Buses and NM Rail Runner Express: Ages 10-18

Comments Off on Youth Summer Fun Pass For Buses and NM Rail Runner Express: Ages 10-18

The Albuquerque Youth Summer Fun Pass is great for wheeling around this summer 2013, with local attractions and leisure discounts too.  Shame it’s only for youngsters, but I don’t think that even with a miracle moisturizer I’d pass for 18.

This transportation pass used to be called the ABQ RIDE Summer Fun Bus Pass, but now the pass has been extended from just the ABQ RIDE buses. The new Youth Summer Fun Pass for summer 2013 also includes Rio Metro buses, the New Mexico Rail Runner Express, and Santa Fe Trails buses.

The pass costs $15 and it gives unlimited rides to students ages 10 – 18 until July 31, 2013.

PLUS they get discounts with pass partners:

  • Cliff’s Amusement Park – $5 discount on admission
  • ABQ BioPark BOGO deal – Buy one BioPark pass and get another one of equal or lesser value free
  • City of Albuquerque Swimming Pools – Get 10 free admissions
  • Hinkle Family Fun Center BOGO Deal – Buy one regular price attraction and get another one of the same attraction free. Each person can claim one BOGO free deal per visit, per day.
  • iT’Z-Family Food & Fun – Buy $5 in game points and get $5 in game points free.
  • Maxwell Museum of Anthropology free admission. I’m a bit confused by that one as I thought the Maxwell Museum was free anyway!

The Rio Metro and New Mexico Rail Runner Express website at this link also has a giveaway drawing to win two Pitbull & Ke$ha concert tickets for the concert on June 20, 2013 at Isleta Amphitheater. Online entry must be made by June 15, and although entry is free and no purchase is required, if you do buy or already have a Youth Summer Fun Pass, you get two entries to the drawing!

The drawing is for age 18+ only, which baffled me for a moment, but there’s a space on the entry form for a parent or legal guardian aged 18+ to enter on behalf of a youngster with a Youth Summer Fun Pass!

Individual BOGO and % off coupons from Entertainment(r)

Comments Off on Individual BOGO and % off coupons from Entertainment(r)

You’ve seen the “Entertainment” books. The fat ones filled with coupons like buy-one-get-one-free dining coupons for your city. They’re usually sold as a fundraising event by earnest youngsters raising money for band camp and the like.

Problem was, you’d buy the darn thing and then a year would pass and you’d discover you’d only used a small fraction of the coveted coupons within. Argh.

Well Entertainment is experimenting with a new “a la carte” program. Now through February 28, you can log on to their website and purchase individual coupons for just 99-cents. These are the same great BOGO type coupons you’ve come to know and love, so even at a buck, this is a bargain. Who wouldn’t pay a dollar to get a coupon worth the price of a meal or even a latte?

A quick perusal of the coupons available for Albuquerque at the Entertainment site returned 262 results for dining alone. Other categories include “Shopping” and “Attractions.”

Definitely a path to cheap chow.

WHAT: 99-cent BOGO and “% off” coupons from Entertainment(r)
WHEN: Now through February 28
WHERE: Entertainment(r) website and your local eatery
