The Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival 11th Annual Holiday show runs over this Thanksgiving weekend, from Friday November 26 to Sunday November 28, 2010.

If you missed our earlier post, remember to print out the Festival’s $1 off admission coupon valid on either a one day ticket or the festival pass. Regular adult admission is $6 and it’s $8 for a 3-day pass before the $1 discount.  Kids aged under twelve get in free!

The Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival will be getting festive over the weekend of November 26-28, 2010 at EXPO New Mexico. Over 200 artists and craftspeople from all over the country display their work, give demonstrations, and, of course, sell their arts and crafts. All kinds of creative arts are represented, from glassmaking to painting to pottery to jewelry and much more.

Kids can enjoy the Holiday Creation Station, where they create their own works of art, play in the sandbox, enjoy a magic show or maybe see Santa — all for FREE!  Of course, there will be food vendors and speciality food items to buy from the culinary booths – and plenty of free samples.  The traditional Cookie Walk lets you fill your box with holiday cookies for $15.  They say there’s over 250,000 holiday cookies to choose from – gulp! I think I’d be there for some time…

The Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival Coupon gives $1 off one admission or one pass – so you need a coupon for each person going to the show.

  • When: Friday to Sunday November 26-28, 2010
  • Times: Friday and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Sunday 10 am – 4 pm.

The Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival takes place at the EXPO New Mexico Manuel Lujan building. Be prepared to pay $4 for parking at the fairgrounds

Just got back from the Rio Grand Arts & Crafts Festival. Fantastic. It gets better every year. Good to see John, Bill, Phil and Michelle – artists whose work we have in the shop. And we met new artists and saw lots of new creative work.
