Free Western Block Party – Old Town

Ready, now? We say, “Yee!” — you say, “Haw!” If country music’s your thang, get ready to two-step your way down to Old Town this Friday night for free live music all evening.
This Friday, June 19 (2009), from 6:00 – 9:00pm, north Romero Street hoes down with a free concert featuring The Porter Draw, Westwind Band, and R.W. Hampton (who, incidentally, has one of the best mustaches in the business). Plus, in addition to this free family entertainment, you can stroll around and enjoy food, beverages, shopping — and our fantastic New Mexico sunsets. Fingers crossed for pleasant weather!
Old Town Albuquerque is bounded on the southwest by Central Ave and Rio Grande Ave. Romero Street is one block east of Rio Grande. See the map.
