Summer Movie Express 2013: Family Films $1
Who doesn’t love taking the kids to see a movie? Here’s another way to watch movies on the cheap, thanks to Regal Entertainment’s Summer Movie Express 2013 Family Film Festival with tickets at $1 each!
In Albuquerque the movies start on June 4, 2013 and run every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 am for nine weeks until July 31. They show G and PG rated movies for a dollar a ticket.
The Summer Movie Express 2013 Family Film Festival has two participating Regal/UA cinemas in Albuquerque: the Four Hills 10 and Cottonwood Stadium 16. In Santa Fe, the program takes place at Regal Stadium 14.
Movies kick off with these films showing this week and for the next few weeks:
- Week 1: The Three Stooges on Tuesday June 4, and Ice Age: Continental Drift on Wednesday June 5
- Week 2: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days on June 11 and Parental Guidance on June 12
- Week 3: Mr. Poppers’ Penguins on June 18 and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked on June 19
See the complete Summer Movie Express 2013 schedule at this link.
The final date in the series is on Wednesday July 31, 2013. Just pick up the $1 movie tickets at the box office window the morning of the show. It’s the same $1 price whether you’re an adult or a kid. Of course, seating is limited, based on the theatre’s capacity, and tickets are first-come, first-served.
Plan to stand in line for tickets, but it’s probably well worth the effort. And you can spend your saved dollars on popcorn! A portion of the $1 ticket fee for the Summer Movie Express 2013 series will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute.
The Four Hills 10 is located at 13120A Central SE. The Cottonwood Mall Stadium 16 is at 10000 Coors Blvd NW .
