Learn the secret to making shaped knitted garments.

Thanks to @MaggieBelize for sending us this tip!

Knitting is hot. And if knitting’s your thing, you’re going to love this free event!

On Wednesday, May 6, at 2:00pm, head up to the East Mountain Library in Tijeras to hear noted knitting expert Lynette Harvey, creator of LynAdell Creative Knitwear, speak on the topic of “Knit to Fit: Shaping Knitted Garments.” Harvey, a New Zealander, is widely known for her devotion to the total design of knitted garments, including the use of subtle shaping techniques to create knitted clothes that complement the figure.

And on Wednesday, she’s going to tell you how to do the same. Free!

This special presentation is sponsored by the Sandia Stitch ‘n Time group that meets regularly at East Mountain Library. Details of group meetings and events can be found at Local Gringos.

The East Mountain Library is located on Hwy 333 in Tijeras, east of Albuquerque.
