Whether you’re a native or you just rolled into town, you’re no doubt familiar with the deliciousness of New Mexico chile. Well, here’s your chance to taste several varieties of our state delicacy.

On Thursday, September 10 (2009), from 3:00 -6:30pm, the Nob Hill Growers’ Market hosts a chile tasting in honor of New Mexico Native Chile Week! The free samplings will be prepared by local slow foods chef Isaura Andaluz. Can you say “yum”?

Plus, go to the manager’s table to find out how you can score $4 in Market Bucks just by signing up for the Nob Hill Growers’ Market’s e-mail newsletter. Market Bucks spend just like cash at the growers’ market, so that’s like someone handing you a quartet of Washingtons!

The Nob Hill Growers’ Market operates on Thursdays from May through November and is located at Morningside Park, at the corner of Morningside and Lead, Albuquerque.
