Author Karen Taschek will discuss her kids' book "Hanging with Bats" at Alamosa Library

Here’s a great event for families during APS Spring Break, or for homeschool families.

Author Karen Taschek will be discussing and signing copies of her kids’ book Hanging with Bats: Ecobats, Vampires and Movie Stars on Tuesday, March 24, from 11:00am to noon at Alamosa Public Library and then again on Wednesday, March 25, from 11:00am to noon at North Valley Library. Taschek will talk about what to do if a bat gets in your house, how to build bat houses, and how to imitate “bat talk.”

Entertaining and enlightening. We likey.
