Free $2 Amazon Credit for MP3

Ooh, I just found this deal to get a $2 free MP3 credit on Amazon through Sunday June 23, 2012.  Although the offer is pretty tucked away on the Amazon site, their Twitter feed gave the link to the deal, so it IS worth me wasting spending time on social media, after all.  I’ve spent my free credit already :-)

To get the Free $2 Amazon MP3 Credit, visit the offer page before buying anything, hit the “enter the code” button, and enter the promo code: MP3S4ALL

The $2 credit will be automatically applied to your account, and then you must redeem the credit by spending it on one or more MP3s by Sunday June 23, 2012 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. $2 gets you a couple of MP3 singles (usually 99 cents or even 69 cents each) or use the credit toward the purchase of an album.

You should see a confirmation on screen after entering the promo code MP3S4ALL that the credit is in your account but, if in doubt, look at any MP3 product detail page and click the Redeem Your Gift Card or Promotional Code and View Balance button on the top right, and it should show that you have $2 to spend – all for free!

I’ve just used the free MP3 credit promo to get myself a couple of Snow Patrol tracks that I love, and it’s no strings attached as far as I see, beyond being limited to one free credit per customer. Of course, you do need to have an Amazon account, and just make sure you use the free credit by June 23 or you lose it!

Update note: When I first posted this deal, the offer ran until June 15. Since then they’ve extended the Amazon freebie to June 23, and this post has been updated to reflect the new date. Good news all around!

If you want more free music, check out my previous post on free MP3s to download.
