Free admission days for New Mexico residents at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science? We like that!

New Mexico residents get in free to The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science on the first Sunday of every month.   That saves $7 per adult (aged 13-59) and $4 for kids (aged 3-12) on the usual ticket price.

So the next free museum admission day in 2013 are:

Sunday August 4
Sunday September 1
Sunday October 6
Sunday November 3
Sunday December 1

To get free admission on the first Sunday of the month, take your New Mexico ID. Even with the freebie, you have to pay regular admission if you want to go in to the Lockheed Martin DynaTheater or the Planetarium.

New Mexico resident seniors age 60+ also continue to get free admission every Wednesday to the NM Museum of Natural History and Science. All veterans with ID also get free admission to the museum on Veterans Day, November 11 of each year.

New Mexico Museum of Natural and Science is located in Albuquerque Old Town at 1801 Mountain Road NW.
