  • Admission: Free!

Other Harvest Festival family fun requires admission fees:

Albuquerque Maize Maze - I’ve been waiting for a deal on the fabulous 7 acre corn maze shaped like a coyote, but nothing so far, sorry! Still, it’s a pretty good value outing, you don’t pay too much to get yourself lost, and kids under 4 go free! Special evening events include a Moonlight Maze on the nights of October 22 and 23 and a Haunted Maze on October 30 and 31. They’re open to 10 pm for both of those. Otherwise hours are:

  • Time:  Fridays 6 – 9 pm, Saturdays 10 am- 9 pm, Sundays/Holidays 11 am – 6 pm.
  • Season:  To October 31 2010
  • Where:  1701 Montano Road NW
  • Admission:  $7.50 Adults (aged 12+), $4 Kids (aged 4-11) , and free for children under 4

McCall’s Pumpkin Patch in Moriarty – take a hayride to the pumpkin patch, explore a 16 acre corn maze (great photo, bet those kids like to eat free!) and other family activities include a pedal cart track, farm animals to feed, a giant slide, and a goat bridge.  Admission includes activities, but if you pick a pumpkin to take home, it costs extra, about $2 to $9.

  • Time:  Saturdays and Sundays 10 am – 6 pm, with final tickets sold at 4 pm
  • Where:  About 45 minutes’ drive from Albuquerque via I-40 East to Moriarty, here are directions
  • Admission:  $9.95 per person, kids aged 2 and under are free

Wagner’s Farmland Experience in Corrales – Admission includes a hayride, and access to the 6 acre corn maze and the pumpkin patch. There’s a petting zoo and play area, and orchard. Lots of good old-fashioned farm life family fun. (Try saying that in a hurry!)

  • Time:  Daily 9 am to 6 pm except Saturdays 9 am – 10 pm
  • Season: To October 31, 2010
Where: Directions to Wagner’s Farmland Experience 2010 corn maze in Corrales
Admission: $6.50 for aduts, $4.50 for kids aged 3 – 11, and under 3s go free.

I’d just like to add that GGYR is a great organization, and although its free… we should all donate. They give children an opportunity to do something that only families with high finances would be able to offer their children. The money they make off donations, and sales goes to pay to maint. and feed the horse along with everything else that it takes to actually take care of them. Its nice to see that there are still good people in the world. Planning on volunteering.

Yeah, I went to GGYR on Sunday afternoon – very nice people and the kids there were having fun. Plus I scored a great pumpkin!

LOVE, LOVE GGYR! Thanks for posting!

I WISH YOU A GOOD LIFE.
