ABQ Ride’s annual luminaria tours return – and tickets go on sale on Black Friday, November 23, 2012.

It’s nearly that time again! Time to bundle on board for the ABQ Ride Luminaria Tours on Christmas Eve to view the lights in and around Old Town, the Albuquerque Country Club, and the Los Altos neighborhood.

Tickets hit the deck for purchase on Black Friday, November 23 (actually starting from midnight of November 22) for a jolly holiday price of only $3 for adults. Tickets are $1.70 for kids aged 10-17 and for seniors. Children aged 9 and under go free with a paying passenger.

Buy tickets online at Hold My Ticket or in the flesh at Hold My Ticket’s box office, located at 112 Second Street SW. These are the only ways to buy Luminaria Tour tickets at time of writing, and they tend to sell out quite fast every year, so you probably want to book yours soon!

ABQ Ride Luminaria Tour times this Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012 start at 5:20 pm, with six departure times from the Albuquerque Downtown Convention Center. The final tour leaves at 7:40 pm.

Twinkle twinkle!

Yes, indeed people can just drive around to see the Christmas lights themselves. These are public roads. It’s even cheaper to walk or cycle… no paying for gas!

It should be mentioned that you can drive in your own car for free, too.
