It’s movie madness this summer, with a cheap deal to take the kids to see family films in Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse. Get tickets for $1 each, or 50 cents if you buy a series punch card in advance.

In Albuquerque, Cinemark Movies 8 is participating in the Summer Movie Clubhouse promotion, which shows a different movie each Tuesday morning from June 7 through August 9, 2011, starting at 9:30 am.

Selected movies are all rated either G or PG, and all tickets – for parents or children – cost $1.

Or see all 10 movies for 50 cents each with a $5 punch card for the entire series. Purchase a punch card in advance from the box office, while supplies last. (Which is why we’re telling in advance, so you can nab a punch card in good time.) You can only use the card for one person, per movie, so you can’t take two people in to the same film on one punch card.

The $1 movie schedule:

  • June 7:  How to Train Your Dragon
  • June 14:  Despicable Me
  • June 21:  Cats & Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore (I love the Cats & Dogs movies!)
  • June 28:  Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
  • July 5:  Kung Fu Panda
  • July 12:  Ramona and Beezus
  • July 19:  Alpha and Omega
  • July 26:  Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader
  • August 2:  Yogi Bear
  • August 9:  Megamind

You’ll find Cinemark Movies 8 at 4591 San Mateo Blvd NE.
