Albuquerque restaurant deals include special discounts or freebies for tax day, including free Panda Express with no purchase needed, and a PF Chang discount, plus deals at Sonic, Arby’s, Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Subway, Pei Wei, and more…

Panda Express free Shanghai Angus Steak on Tax Day, Tuesday April 17 at participating locations. This is for a single serving of the new Panda Express entree, and no purchase is necessary! But you do need the Panda Express coupon and it’s only valid on April 17.

15% off all P.F Chang’s food purchases on April 17.  Dine in or take out. Not valid on beverages, happy hour food, or P.F. Chang’s for Two, but otherwise just turn up with a taxing appetite.

Sonic Half Price Drinks and Slushes in an all-day happy hour on Tax Day April 17 so you don’t have to sweat the small stuff…

Arby’s Free Curly Fries on April 17 – you need to be a Facebook user to get the coupon, valid for one free value size curly fries.

Chili’s Grill & Bar Free Appetizer or Dessert when you buy an adult entree from April 16 – 18, using a printable Chili’s tax day coupon or showing it on a smart phone at participating restaurants. According to the PR Newswire press release, to get the coupon you’ll have to be Chili’s email club member (or sign up for Chili’s email club), or get it from Facebook or Twitter. (I don’t see it at time of writing, probably too early yet.)

Two Free Cinnabon Bites  on April 17 – two freebies per person between 6 pm and 8 pm – note those are both PM times, it’s an evening offer – at participating locations.

Brasserie La Provence Wine Dinner on April 17 gets you four courses paired with Louis Bernard French wines for $55. The dinner starts at 6:30 pm. Reserve a table in advance.

Pasión Latin Fusion 50+% Off Either pay $10 for $20 worth of food and drinks, or (for a table of four or more) pay $18 for $40 worth. The limited time deal is via Groupon, then use the certificates through October 17, 2012.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Deal $10 for half-dozen chocolate-covered strawberries (worth $21) or $10 for four caramel apples or candy apples (worth up to $26). You can buy 2 deals plus one as a gift (that’s a lot of candied fruit, people!) in the offer via Groupon for a limited time, and then use the certificates by July 31 at the Cottonwood Mall store. Candy apples could be a nice present for the teacher!

Jane Butel’s Southwest Cooking School 50%+ Off a 2.5 hour cooking demonstration class led by the rather famous Jane Butel, at $30 instead of the usual $65. They’re also offering 50% off a full weekend cooking class in the offer via Living Social, at $525 (usually $1,050), available to purchase for a limited time, then take a cooking class (or give it as a gift) by August 20, 2012.

KFC Free Family-size Double Chocolate Chip Cake with the purchase of a 10 piece meal or larger, at participating restaurants. The offer is valid for a limited time on meals featuring Original Recipe, Extra Crispy, or Kentucky Grilled Chicken, and you don’t need a coupon.

Subway BOGO free sub during April. Buy a 6 inch sandwich on any morning by 9 am to get another Subway sandwich free!

Pei Wei Asian Diner Free Diner Select with the purchase of an entree when you create a Pei Wei passport or sign in to an existing account by April 19. I haven’t done it yet for this offer, but you usually have to watch a brief video to get the coupon emailed to you, pretty painless.

Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes Seniors Deal on Monday through Thursday from 2 – 5 pm. An email from S&ST tells us that for $6.99, seniors 60+ can get “as much or as little as you like” of salads, soups, pasta, muffins, breads, desserts and free coffee and drinks. No coupon is needed. I’d check with the server that they’re honoring this BEFORE you start to chow down!

Starbucks Petites Deal to get two Petites for $2 until April 22. Although right now I’m pretty annoyed at Starbucks as some head office rep contacted me to offer a giveaway to ABQ on the Cheap readers, and then when I said Yes Please, they decided they didn’t have enough giveaway gift sets after all. Pretty lame behavior and a waste of my time. But it’s still a good Petites deal :-) and it’s not the fault of local locations and the lovely people who work in them!

Ree Drummond Pioneer Woman free talk about her new cookbook The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food From My Frontier on Monday April 30 at 6 pm in free Bookworks event at the Simms Center for the Performing Arts Auditorium. You have to get your free tickets in advance, as they have limited space!

Olive Garden  $5  Off  two dinner entrees or $2.50 off one entree if you’re dining alone, using the coupon. If you don’t see the offer at the website page I linked you to, here’s a direct link to the Olive Garden printable coupon, and there’s plenty of time to use this one – it’s valid till May 6.

Get a Carl’s Junior free Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich when you buy any size Southwest Patty Melt Combo. Or use these Carl’s Jr Coupons at participating restaurants:

Auntie Anne’s free Almond Pretzel when you buy a Pretzel Dog and 21 oz. fountain soda or lemonade. Get the coupon by filling in the form at the link and they email it to you in a one-time mailing. If you want to sign up for monthly Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Perks coupons, check the box in the form.

Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen Facebook Freebie for a free Pepsi in medium size with any purchase in April.  You have to ‘like’ them on Facebook to access the coupon, so this one is only for Facebook members.

NOTE: Not all locations may be participating in all offers – call ahead if you want to be sure.

Thanks to our associates at Living on the Cheap for passing on the Starbucks and Pei Wei deals!

–Tania  FYI – I’ve given my Groupon and Living Social affiliate links to plug you direct to those deals.
