Habitat For Humanity Chile Festival
The 15th Annual Chile Festival is a fundraiser for Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity, and admission is free!
The Habitat for Humanity Chile Festival 2012 takes place on August 25-26, with chile roasting, live entertainment, craft vendors sellings their wares from soaps to jewelry, a bake sale, plus books, videos and plants for sale, a silent auction, and kids’ activities including a puppet show.
The Chile Fest entertainment schedule includes the Albuquerque All Stars Dance Club, Young at Heart Choir, Route 66 Revelers, guitarist DJ Armijo, and Austin and the Rattlers.
As it’s a benefit (and they need to raise money at the free event!) they’ll also have the raffle for the Habi-tot Playhouse (looks super-cute). The drawing is on Sunday at 3:30, although you can buy raffle tickets in advance and don’t have to be present to win. Other raffles are available to win an iPod, a $200 gas card, or a Smith’s grocery $300 gift card.

Time: Saturday August 25 from 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday August 26th from 11 am to 4 pm
